ELECTIONS / VOTING
The election of Town Officials takes place on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.
The Jefferson County Board of Elections has taken over the coordination of Primary and General Elections, including the establishment of polling places and the transportation of voting equipment.
Voters may review polling locations and election district maps and obtain voter registration forms at the Town Clerk's Office. Absentee ballots must be obtained from the Board of Elections.

If you are registering for the first time in Jefferson County you must register 25 days before any election to be eligible to vote in that election.
If you are already registered in Jefferson County and you move, you may change your address and be eligible to vote through election day.
To be eligible to vote in a primary election, you must be registered in the party that is having the primary. For more information regarding voting eligibility or voter registration, please contact the Jefferson County Board of Elections.
